Royal Central Tower (11300 NCX)

Royal Central Tower is a Six (6) story office building in North Dallas, TX.  In October 2019, an EF-3 tornado event hit the building, causing major damages.  CES was engaged by the owner (Good Signature) to provide immediate Life Safety support and Structural / Exterior Envelope Assessment support.  CES was also retained to work with the insurance carriers on damages.  Systems that needed immediate attention: Glass/Curtainwall, Delaminated Stucco, Roof Assembly, A/C Units, Water Damaged Areas.  Childress Architects Group provided architectural drawings to completely change the exterior façade while the Curtainwall Team designed a process of keeping the curtainwall framing in-place while installing new glass on the exterior with the use of some new custom dies while the existing glass could be removed from the interior.
